Many of our schools are overcrowded and the backlog of maintenance and renovation projects is in the billions. Likewise, many of our roads are congested and in need of maintenance. Public safety agencies are understaffed and struggling to meet timely response goals. And the public is paying for costly restoration projects to mitigate

environmental damage associated with development. These are all predictable consequences of current land use and growth policies, and regulatory and revenue

structures that incentivize residential growth.

 

The Alliance will advocate for policies that reflect the true costs of growth.
